RECIPE - CÓCTEL

“Sakerinha”: shaken or stirred?

Ingredients (f. 1 cocktail, multiply by number of guests):

  • 1/2 organic lime
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 50 ml sake
  • 1/2 passion fruit
  • crushed ice

Preparation

Halve the lime lengthwise, put one half to one side. You need half a lime per drink. Cut off the bottom of the lime. Cut the half twice lengthwise so that you have three gaps. Divide them crosswise again, in the end you have six pieces. Pour into a glass or cocktail shaker. Add sugar, crush with a mortar stick so that the juice comes from the fruit and the oil from the skin. Add the sake. Cut the passion fruit in half, scrape out the flesh, collect the juice, add both. Mix everything well, i.e. stir in a glass, shake in a shaker. Pour the mix into a glass and fill up with ice. Lemon slices, edible blossoms, fresh herbs such as basil, thyme, mint, dried lavender, etc. are suitable for garnishing.
